The Belgian waste management company Indaver wanted to make efficient use of its residual heat. It has therefore supplied this heat to the malting company Boortmalt, located 8 km away, which requires the heat for its drying processes. Mannesmann Line Pipe supplied 413 t of HFI-welded steel pipes, which are used as medium and jacket pipes in the district heating pipeline. The pipes were precisely tailored in terms of diameter, wall thickness, and coating systems to meet the requirements of the district heating system and for use at high temperatures.
