To connect the Brunsbüttel LNG import terminal to the Northwest European gas network, Mannesmann Grossrohr supplied the required pipes for this key energy supply project. Working under tight deadlines, we manufactured and delivered some 3,260 large-diameter pipes for the approximately 58 km long pipeline on behalf of Gasunie Deutschland. Manufactured in large dimensions (including DN 800, ca. 18 m in length), the steel pipes are made for maximum performance and reliability and are already designed for the transport of hydrogen – an important step toward a climate-neutral future.
