Pipes for cryogenic media
Description
Mannesmann steel tubes for cryogenic applications derive their exceptional mechanical properties from the use of a special alloy. They exhibit high cold toughness combined with maximum strength. Due to their relatively low alloy content, these tubes offer a more economical and environmentally friendly solution compared to cold-tough stainless steels. Our pipes ensure the safe transport of liquefied gas under extreme conditions of minus 162 °C and below.
Your benefits
- Low-temperature toughness down to -196 °C
- Very high strength values
- Cladding tube system available in collaboration with partners
- Cost-effective
- Tight geometric tolerances due to fabrication from hot-rolled wide strip
